circa 1830, with round turn-off 1 1/2in. barrels engraved at the muzzles (frozen), false rifling, the barrels and breech-blocks numbered '2' and '3' respectively, radiused edge boxlock central hammer action signed on the left 'T. WILSON & CO' within a field of acanthus leaf engraving, the right side signed 'LIVER..L' below the external barrel locking spring also within a field of acanthus leaf engraving (locking spring cracked but present), concealed automatic trigger, sliding safe to top-tang, finely chequered walnut bag-shaped butt and white-metal oval escutcheon to wrist
